City Gym

Australia's iconic City Gym opened its doors in 1978 to a flourishing fitness and bodybuilding industry.

Unprecedented and visionary for its time, City Gym set a fitness standard, creating a product that other fitness centres used as a model.

CityGym came to us looking for a fresh take on their website that had become stagnant and uneditable. They had an idea in mind and wanted the interactivity to inspire both their staff and clients but gave us the freedom to take our own creative direction, with their final approval of course.

We assisted with video editing for the site as well as reinvigorating the dark photography supplied.

The result was an compelling customer journey where the navigation was a lot simpler and engaging to the user.

A Mecca for the sporting elite, City Gym boasted Olympic champions, Hollywood Superstars, Music Legends, and world-class bodybuilders, yet managed not to become pretentious or intimidating.
